How do you prove Bradesco Insurance has the most efficient customer service? By making people suffer through the worst one imaginable. Snippets of a fictitious insurance call aired between songs during ad-free radio shows, turning bands like U2, Queen and Dire Straits into accidental hold music. Across the campaign, a stranded customer trying to get a tow truck was left on hold for an entire hour. The idea ran across Brazil’s biggest radio stations.

Installment buying is huge in Brazil, just like the timeless trend of making fun of infomercials. So to promote Ourocard’s ability to split purchases into up to 48 x, we created a digital film parodying the over-the-top 80s Ginsu knives ads, replacing absurdly sharp blades with credit cards instead. The film went viral, earning nearly 4 million views overnight.
